Announcing a new social event on September 13, at Chicken & Pickle, 5901 W. 135th St., Overland Park, KS. This will be purely social, open play, not a tournament. 2 courts have been reserved from 10am to 12pm. Cost is only $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers. Courts are outside, come enjoy the cool fall weather and enjoy the fun even if you don't want to play, just watch! In fairness to newer players, we will stack paddles and try to mix the play between the courts for beginners and more advanced players. If we have a lot of players, we will limit games per player. We are trying something new by not paying in advance and making this more like a social event. Please be sure to sign the waiver before play as required by Chicken & Pickle and check-in with me to pay for playing. Afterwards or during play, enjoy some wood-fired chicken, tasty tots or seasonal salads, to name a few selections. There's a tiki bar and also some other fun games to play.
